The History
- — How it all began
On June 22, 2019, a few Noble friends created the Dhamma Audio Library. They released their first audiobook online at the Sri Dalada Maliga Premises in Kandy.
Initially, The library was a small project, but it quickly became a comprehensive resource for Buddhist teachings. Today, anyone in the world can join the library and contribute to its growth.
The library’s success is due to the hard work of many people. The founders have dedicated their time and energy to making the library a reality. The volunteer readers have donated their voices to bring the teachings to life. And the listeners have supported the library by downloading and sharing the audiobooks.

Our Mission
At Dharma Audio Library, our mission is to record books that have unique Dhamma books. We recognize that this is an enormous task and can only be achieved with a welcoming attitude towards anyone who wants to help us reach this goal. Therefore, we have established an open-door policy for readers willing to share the Dharma with us by offering their contributions.
We value both quantity and quality when it comes to our recordings;
We aim to establish this program as a community of members dedicated to sharing Dharma Donations, devoid of any intention to enhance their personal image.
